Exploration Three: Gabrielle

     My go-to food is Macaroni and Cheese. Coming home from a long day, Macaroni and Cheese always sounds delicious and amazing. Just thinking about it makes my taste buds water. Macaroni and Cheese is made up of noodles and packaged mix cheese mainly, but the best kind of Macaroni and Cheese is made up of noodles and cheese scratches of the cheese of your choice. The best Macaroni and Cheese to me is the Macaroni and Cheese that is served at the Dublin Village Tavern. It is made up of elbow noodles covered in a blend of cheeses, and it is served nice and hot.
     Spaghetti and Meatballs is a family favorite on my Dad's side of the family. My Dad's side of the family is made up of loud and crazy Italians who love their Spaghetti and Meatballs. My Grandma will make Spaghetti and Meatballs for every holiday and a lot of family dinners. She will make the meatballs a specific way that has been passed down the family for generations. My Grandma will only buy her meatball mix from Carsonie's or Carfagna's because she thinks those two stores are the only ones with real tasting Italian meatball mix. Her Spaghetti and Meatballs are to die for. Every holiday I get super excited mainly because of my Grandma's Italian meals. My Grandma said she remembers her grandmother making the same meals that she makes today. Our family values Spaghetti and Meatballs and I definitely think the tradition of having it for holidays will carry on for generations.
