Chloe's Exploration Three

One of my favorite foods to eat is the non box form of Macaroni and Cheese. I myself make a baked asiago cheese mac and cheese that I always look forward to shoveling into my mouth. The top of the dish is crispy and full of flavor from the asiago cheese and paprika. Beneath the top later is the soft noodles coated in a mixture of melted asiago and parmesan cheese. First I cook the noodles and then melt the two cheese with milk and flour over the stove top and poor it on the cooked noodles then mix it until every noodle if covered. Then with the topping I cook the breadcrumbs until they are golden and sprinkle it on the top of the noodles along with paprika and a little more of asiago cheese.

When I think back to family dinners I always think of my dinners with my grand parents and the same meal we had each time we ate together. My mom would make my grandpas favorite beef stew and he would make corn bread but he calls it Johnny Cake. These meals were special because I got to spend them with my grandparents and my grandpa would tell us stories about being born and living in Germany till he was a teenager. He would always say " eat up its good" in German before we ate.

  2. I've never tried Mac and Cheese like that, it definitely sounds like something I'd like to try sometime though!
