The presentation incorporated facts and details about Diana, which was helpful in understanding more about her. Before this presentation I had never hear of her, so I did learn something interesting. I also liked how you expressed your opinion and how you think she is a brave women.
ReplyDeleteFor a criticism I would say that you should read off of the screen less and focus more on the audience while presenting.
I liked the quotes that you used and the documentary that you used to show us her.

I learned a lot from your presentation especially because I had never heard of Diana Nyad before. I thought that you guys had a lot of really good and interesting facts. I thought that the map you showed of her attempts swimming from Cuba to Florida was really interesting!

ReplyDeleteThe presentation was good and I learn a lot of new informations about Diana Nyad. I think the video was interesting and your guys doing a good job. I think your guys should look at the audience while you presenting and not just read the infos from power point.

The video you two showed was a very good video to share with us because it was filled with details and it was extremely interesting to watch. I think it is really cool how much she did and made swimming a very big part of her life because of her past. I think you two could have done better by talking to us and not reading off the screen as much as you did. But you two did a good job!

ReplyDeleteI never knew who Diana was until the presentation. It was really interesting to learn about her, and the documentary you guys showed was very good, and showed how she was a passionate swimmer.
ReplyDeleteThe presentation was overall good and including a lot of facts about Diana. The short clip helped me understand more of her story. The only negative I saw was directly reading off the board.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed watching the documentary. I thought it explained a lot and we also got to learn something new things about her. Something i thought you could have done better was to talk louder when presenting and not looking at the slides and reading from it that much.

ReplyDeleteNyad is a very inspiring person and I am glad you guys chose to present her because ive been meaning to learn more about her life story. Thats very sad she was raped but its awesome how she used that to motivate her.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed your presentation on Diana Nyad. I learned a lot from your presentation. I learned that she swam from Cuba to Florida and she swam 48 hours to benefit Hurricane Sandy victims. I think you could have polished the compare and contrast part of the presentation. I thought you could have done a better job talking to the audience and keeping eye contact.
